Just about every diehard Notre Dame and Ohio State fan I know has made that trip to West Lafayette for the Purdue game. It's pretty much within 4 hours of everywhere in Ohio or Indiana or Chicago, so it's a great place to go for a road game. Plus, it seems like tickets are always readily available.

West Lafayette is your typical Midwest college town and nothing more. Contrary to what Ravi and others may say, it's not a bad place.

I actually liked their stadium. There isn't a bad seat in the house, and the stadium rules that let you leave during halftime are outstanding. It does feel like a very large high school stadium, but that doesn't necessarily bother me.

All in all, I don't mind Purdue as a road trip. #10 on this ranking list seems about right.

Looking forward to how the rest of the list shakes out.Doughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00749996801204575270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19884649.post-61606845921426321812008-10-03T18:09:00.000-05:002008-10-03T18:09:00.000-05:00I thought I would leave the description of that fa...I thought I would leave the description of that fateful drive home to the one who was most sober driving us train wrecks home.

My favorite memory was randomly checking the car's compass reader, with foreign corn fields all around us and being ecstatic that it read "N" for North. We knew we were on the right path and confident that John Law wouldn't find us on Country Road Q.

Also, the beginning of a great friendship with Mr. Zeller. So maybe the intangible score should have been higher.

Didn't Boneau puke in some random guy's car or hat or house? One of those. Or all three!nmb543https://www.blogger.com/profile/00374232693302405558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19884649.post-8860217162403748582008-10-03T14:24:00.000-05:002008-10-03T14:24:00.000-05:00This post is a waste of blog/cyber space. This post is a waste of blog/cyber space.Ravihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03288064294207475097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19884649.post-48330984374868455582008-10-03T12:47:00.000-05:002008-10-03T12:47:00.000-05:00So I guess we're not talking about the trip home f...So I guess we're not talking about the trip home from Purdue.
