I just stumbled across the Providence - UConn game and noticed our old friend Ray Hall lumbering up and down the court. Looking forward to seeing how much his game has improved over his nine years on campus when the Irish play at the DD Center later this month.

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! He seriously still plays for Providence?!? I remember chanting "Ogre" at him while I was a student a few years ago. I also remember him being awful from the line that game.
Well, he almost certainly hasn't been suiting up any longer than the official span of eligibility allowed by the NCAA.
But I guess it must seem like eons. Years and years and years and years.
Our favorite ogre went for a 5 Trillion tonight. Impressive. And for the record, he started at Providence in '06 and sat out a year because of injury.
Nailbiting win for the Irish, but a road win is a road win. Can't play such indifferent defense come March. And a hat tip to Marshon Brooks. If that guy isn't the BE POY, there should be an investigation. I don't know why Brey didn't double him since he shredded each individual defender that was on him, but 52 is still 52. Impressive performance....
